Welcome! I'm Klara, 24 years old and from Germany.
I love art, music, travelling, poetry and dancing.
Sometimes I think art is the only thing that makes sense in this world. Thus, I aspire to become much better at drawing, taking photos, making short films etc. There's a lot to learn and a lot to create!

My favorite travels so far have been backpacking in Vietnam, hitchhiking through Portugal and living in a van in Canada. The experiences I enjoy most are the personal-connection-moments, which are much more likely to happen when travelling with couchsurfing or by hitchhiking. Getting into the weirdest situations and just enjoying life to the fullest.
Once I did a couchsurfing-photography-project and it just made me fall in love even more with this way of travelling. I'm curious and want to know all the ways to life live and see all different kinds of people. I'm interested in community-building and the different ways to bring people together.

The last year I've been living in Spain (Valencia) to study here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and see the country I visit in a new way. Being able to spend time with a local is very precious to me.

I am very excited to host surfers aswell, once I am able to!

Interests

I've been dancing in a hiphop crew for almost 10 years.
I also love drawing and am very interested in art!
(And music.)(If I could sing I'd be a singer but unfortunately I can't.)

Books: Extremely loud and incredibly close - Jonathan Safran Foer (I love that author)

Films: Fight club, Interstellar, Gone Girl..(I also watch fun movies though, don't worry) Also I'm addicted to watching Gilmore Girls
