ABOUT ME

Czech, currently living in Mostar (leaving in summer 2012). I´m here on a post-doc scholarship, teaching English lit at the Mostar University and volunteering for the local United World College. As I´ve only been here since October, I can offer showing you around Mostar through the eyes of a foreigner...
Having said that, I can take you places that even some of the locals don´t know about(Recycle pub!) and of course those that are well-known and touristy (Old Town and the Bridge)...
I´ve recently started reading up on Bosnian/Yougoslavian history, so I´m ready to have a conversation on this topic, in case that´s something you´re into.-) If you are not necessarily looking for a local couch, or are interested in the ´stranger-in-the-strange-city´perspective, I´ll be happy to host you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I host rather than surf. I hope to change that in the spring, probably first travelling around Europe, right now I´m thinking somewhere nice and warm, Sicily, Greece, and than around the world, Hawaii, Central Asia and Mongolia.... We´ll see!
