ABOUT ME

I have not updated my couchsurfing account since I was 18 so I guess a couple changes are in order... I am not traveling so randomly anymore :) Currently I am moving to Utrecht for my MA. I am really excited about living in a new city, and although I have not used couchsurfing too much in the last year (amazing how living in Luxembourg working a 9-5 office job can suck ones soul and will to socialize) I am looking for a new experience and I want to meet some folks in Utrecht!

PHILOSOPHY

I want to make my life even better than it already is, I do that by seeing new things, trying new things, and generally trying not to get caught up in my own world too much. Right now is the time of my life where i have all the freedom I could want to travel, so that's what I'm doing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have friends who have couch surfed, and I have visited people at couch surfs, but I haven't actually done it myself. I'm excited for the new experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

like most music, it inspires the mood and makes a moment fun and memorable. I dont listen to any one type.
I love to read, but dont have tons of time for it. I love "the natural history of the senses" and "our kind" among many others.
movies.... hmm.. I like to sit down and watch a good film. some of my standbys are "fight club" "princess bride" "monty python" "the notebook" I like to either laugh or cry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of my favorite moments are from traveling!
I spent a couple of weeks in Egypt in 2011, which was exciting to say the least!
And I have had a few nights out in various cities that just transcend anything I could ever wish for my life. Meeting people, and having off-the-wall ridiculous times are what I live for!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about language, culture and music.
and I want to teach people english, and share stories and experiences.
I also love to teach people about photography, and would be thrilled to get my hands on some old film camera's while traveling!
