About Me
Hey guys!
I am a happy travelling student from Germany always looking for opportunities to meet new people from all over the world! I have spent plenty of time abroad already, studying in Helsinki, taking a roadtrip through NZ or carrying my backpack through Southeast Asia for four months on my own.
I am a master's student in International Business & Consulting, but my true passion is travelling. So whenever I have the chance and have once again saved up enough money, I go wherever the wind may take me. There is no place I don't want to visit, and I love meeting new people from around the world.
Plus I am a vegan... if that makes any difference to you, which I hope it doesn't, because it certainly does not for me!
Oh, and if you understand German and/or want to see a few pictures of what I have done so far, check out http://woistklara.de/ :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my travels over the past years I have met so many amazing people who were always so friendly, helpful and open-minded that it made each and every trip of mine very special to me. I very rarely took home souvenirs, I always just took pictures and new friendships with me.
All of this made me realize how important it is to get to know people and their stories and how helpful it can be to meet someone who can help you when you are on your own in a foreign country. So if you come over here to Germany and are still looking for someone to hang out with, to show you around the city or grab a bite to eat with, just let me know! If I have time I'd be more than happy to help you have a great time here in Germany! :)
Interests
During the week I love to spend my free time in cafés, art museums, the cinema or restaurants - wherever there are many people around! But then on the weekends its time for all the fun stuff outside the city, Hiking, Camping, staring at the sky with the hands folded behind my head. The mix is what matters!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love design, contemporary fine arts and food. So everything I read or watch is somehow related to one of those topics. It's mostly biographies, research papers or publications about photography - something I can learn from.
Music is super important to me, if you want to sing, I will for sure sing along.
But I can't really pinpoint what kind of music I listen to. Again. Its the mix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Packed my teeny tiny carry-on backpack and took that with me to Southeast Asia - nothing else. There I spent 4 months pretty much on my own. Learning how to drive a TukTuk myself in Cambodia, jumping off cliffs in Vietnam, showering in a Waterfall in Laos, taking the scooter through Thailand, being an usherette at a movie premiere in Malaysia, walking through art museums in Singapore, doing Yoga in Bali. All amazing. If you want, I will tell you more about it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Wanna learn about how to be a minimalist, get rid of stuff, and maybe also how to cook one or two delicious vegan meals? I am the right person to ask :)
