COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had some fantastic couchsurfing time in Indonesia, Brazil and UK even before I discovered this site. It made me realise that this is the best way to truly get to know your destination.

Centres d'intérêt

Music (all sorts), books, languages, travels (obviously), scuba diving, cooking, life in general. Oh, and I recently discovered karate! I'm not using it on people though. (At least not yet.:)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love good storytellers, so books I like include works by Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jorge Borges, Irvine Welsh. My most recent discovery is George RR Martin. I'm now officially addicted to A Song of Ice and Fire, desperately waiting for the new novel to come out. Have to add my latest discovery to the list. Neal Stephenson is simply amazing.

As for music, well... Loads of different stuff. Mostly music I don't play at work. Guess I don't want to bring too much work home. :-)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Swam with dolphins in Cuba. I know it's not very nice to support all this stuff they do with captive dolphins, but I couldn't resist it. And I was glad for every minute of it!
