About Me

Currently I live in Buenos Aires, and I can host people in BA.

Born and raised in a small town in the south of Poland, always very curious of the world. I started traveling with my mom but since I turned 18 I really like to go on solo trips too. For a few years studied in Cracow and did uni exchange in Saint Petersburg (Russia). Few years ago I also adopted two cats that still are part of my small family.
I want to go everywhere, loving nature but cities have something magical too!
People who know me might say that I'm a specialist in unexpected situations. I'm an open minded and active person who is still learning how can relax and be lazy sometimes.

A very special sentence that I heard a while ago and changed my way of thinking was that if you don't ask the answer is always NO. So take chances, take a lot of them. Because honestly, no matter where you end up and with whom, it always ends up just the way it should be. Your mistakes make you who you are, you learn and grow with each choice you make, everything is worth it.

Took double doses of Pfizer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share a place to stay/to find a place to stay
to meet interesting people from all over the world

I've heard about CS in 2013 and since then I have used it a lot

Interests

I will start with the oldest one, so music was in my life since I remember, I attend to music school first to play on violins and then saxophone become my love. Even though I don't play any more I still think about it as an important part of my life.
I was studying and graduated on three different fields of study: law, archaeology and economic administration. They might sound very different, but this describes me perfectly ;) Law school made a great impact on my life but archaeology too, these all led me to the idea which I'm trying to realize now which is working in a field close to a project management.

I participated in a lot of projects, here in Poland and abroad, excavations, conferences etc.
Photography is definitely not my professional interest, but I do appreciate good photos, unfortunately I only do some amateur ones with my analog camera.

During the pandemic I bought an old soviet camera, and now I'm still figuring how to use it properly
In 2022 I started an ultralight aircraft pilot course but wasn't able to finish it before I moved out from Poland, hopefully one day I will be able to do that somewhere in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Into The Wild, The Godfather, 12 Angry Man, Inglorious Basterds, In Time
Series: Mindhunter, Narcos, Spy, Friends, Caliphate, True Detective, The End of the Fucking World
Books: I do not have one favorite book, in general I like to read biographies, crime stories, reportages
Music: The Rolling Stones but apart from that I listen to very different music, just techno and heavy metal is not really my thing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did my own scientific project about Siberian shamanism and get there with the Trans-Siberian and traveled just by myself in Central America. That is something I wrote here back in 2022 but since then I did a couple of things I consider as amazing.

I drove myself my 24yo car from Europe to the Ivory Coast to sell it there, ask me about that story ;)
Wing walked in the UK (google it, seems pretty awsome)

Teach, Learn, Share

At this point I can say that I'm an experienced traveler who after a break caused by covid want to get back to the world. I can share some advices about budget trips. I will be happy to show you around the place where I currently live in if I have time, if possible also to share my living space.
I accumulate a lot of different information (very random sometimes) and knowledge in my head, and I'm always happy to share it. I'm a very good listener too.
...and finally a (hopefully) well known polish hospitality :)
