About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Current mission is just to travel and meet as many people as possible in NYC and elsewhere.

ABOUT ME

I originally moved to New York City to attend school but I'm just working now. I'm based in NYC but am moving around a lot now as I'm working entirely remotely.

I recently returned from a brief trip to Miami and the Florida Keys which was really wonderful. Not sure where I'm heading next specifically but ski season is basically here so I'm wanting to head out west this winter.

PHILOSOPHY

Every moment is a passing opportunity to turn your life around.

I like this saying, but since I first heard it I've realized that every moment thereafter is an opportunity to screw things up again.

Music, Movies, and Books

There isn't really one type of movie I like exclusively. I like pretty much every type of movie except horror. However generally I prefer books to films.

Recent books I've read that I like: "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides; "Dead Souls", Nikolai Gogol... I read "Invisible" by Paul Auster and really did NOT like it... am currently reading two books, Peter Ho Davies "The Welsh Girl" and "Prodigal Summer" by Barbara Kingsolver, have not formed an opinion yet but thinking they are not going to be among my favorites...

Recently read "100 years of Solitude" Gabriel García Márquez and while I found it to be a decent read, it did not quite live up to its reputation in my opinion...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had a lot of wonderful experiences so far. I really wouldn't know what specifically to mention. Just living in New York City has been quite an experience.
