About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy every single day.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 27year old student of photojournalism. I was born in Leipzig (which is former GDR) and on my first birthday people decided to party and brought the Berlin wall down :)

I love meeting people from all over the world to hear their stories. I am more of a listener, don't like to talk about myself too much. I think that everyone has an exciting story to tell and I like hearing them and seeing this spark in peoples eyes when they're really into it.

PHILOSOPHY

Barefoot or patent-leather shoes – make or break!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Sept 2008 I was travelling and couchsurfing in Poland for a week with 4 friends. We had an amazing time, stayed in tiny flats with loads of people.
Before that I visited a couch in Paris and one in Lisbon.
When travelling (I do that a lot) I enjoy meeting people through couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Salvation Mountain near the Salton Sea in California. It was boiling hot and I stood there stunned by the sight. Everybody knows this place from the movie Into the Wild (he meets this girl at the slabs and takes her for a walk to the colorful mountain) but being there in real life is just amazing. I got to talk to Leonard Knight (the guy who built it) as well although he doesn't live and work in the desert anymore.
