Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Working towards a degree in Industrial Design. I want to live actively and intentionally, make good connections, and create beautiful things.
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from Colorado and landed in the Upper Left after hiking the PCT and falling in love with the Cascades. I love mountains, making stuff, good food, meaningful conversation, and the little things that make life special, like sharing coffee with an old friend.
PHILOSOPHY
Be good. Be good to yourself, be good to each other. Do good work. Make the world a more beautiful place, however you do that. Share yourself and don’t be afraid of vulnerability.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed in about 10 different countries and I've hosted a lot of really lovely and interesting people! Right now I’m not the most reliable host as life is a bit crazy for both my roommate and myself, but I’d love to show people around Bellingham when I have the time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed in Idaho, Oregon, California, Hawaii, New York City, Canada, France, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Croatia, Germany, Scotland, England, and the Netherlands. I've slept on more beds, couches, floors, camping mattresses, and futons than I would care to count... plus a moon bed :) This has given me the unique ability to sleep in new and strange places, on surfaces of ranging comfortability! Aside from that little detail, I'm continually impressed by the experiences couchsurfing opens up for you.
Interests
Wilderness and wild things, design, people, interesting words, writing, art, music, ceramics and pottery, metalworking, things that appeal to my old timey sensibilities, traveling, environmental science, baking, cooking.
