About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find socks that last me more than 3 weeks.

ABOUT ME

Always up for a good laugh. Fairly bad at cooking but fantastic at last-minute grocery shopping.
I love dancing above all.

PHILOSOPHY

There's no such thing as too much cheese.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If I travel, I like to bring some food and entertainment with me. I am more than happy to play with your younger siblings/kids or go out with you and your friends.

If I host, I like to bring my guests along to parties and have them meet my friends - most of them CS seasoned, take them to or advise them on places and activities in town.
I'm not the best of cooks but I love having people over for big dinners.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my friends back in London are from Couchsurfing and I've had the pleasure to hang out with loads of CSers in the past 5 years.
Will start hosting again in the spring (no heater in the living room).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electro, funk, reggae, african beats, rock and punk, but anything with good drums can have my feet dancing really. I've got a thing for Northern rockstars that swear a lot... 😌

I love good and awful movies equally. 70s movies, silent pics and Coppola Sr.
And cheesy 90s movies - I recently discovered The Room. I'm a different person now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Marathon in Reykjavik, Iceland. I got the chance to help the staff around, and met with runners from all over the world, all ages & physical conditions. We had a US journalist whose legs had been blown off by a bomb in Iraq and was running the 42.2 km marathon on proesthetics legs, a 100 year old Pakistani man, Canadian women running for a breast cancer foundation... A good shot of humility on that day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning guitar, iyengar yoga and meditation.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Morocco, Philippines, Scotland, South Africa, Thailand, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
