ABOUT ME

I am a freelance fashion photographer, occasionally going on reportage assignments as a "balance". Currently working in New York.

Since I combine work with travelling, i get the chance to visit amazing places on quite a regular basis, although at the moment i'm more looking into short stays in cities all over europe. No bigger journeys planned at the moment.

I generally have a more "live and let live" attitude; Living in a world of contrasts, I can enjoy the poshest fashion parties as well as the drumming hippies on some forgotten beaches. Not always of course; everything at its right time. But always seeking new experiences, highs and lows, and curious to see what awaits me next. Open for most anything:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I haven't got a space to offer anyone to stay at. Although I'm considering a move again, and as of then I should be able to do so.

At the moment I'm very much up for taking people out for drinks or coffee, show them around either Barcelona or Vienna (depending on where i am at the moment). At least to the places that I enjoy most:)

Great ones! Met lovely people and had long fun nights in places I'd never have found myself!

Favourite Authors; miguell de unamuno, Henry Miller, Anais Nin, Nabukov, Dawkins, Arundhati Roy, Dostojeski

Movies; Mostly very artsy stuff. Not a big fan of the hollywood blockbuster thing - more the alternative, subtitled sorta film. Favourite Directors; Wes Anderson, Jim Jarmush, Lars von Trier.

Music; Rock! Open for most things (although usually not a big fan of hip hop, raggae and electronic - occasionally yes, but usually not too enticed). Love Alternative rock, good jazz, latin music, classical music, experimental music...

Climbed to 6150 meters in Ladakh.
Hitchhiked on the Karakoram in Pakistan.
Have been in the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
Have had international Fashion Photography Publications:)
