About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"If we're going to screw it up, we're going to screw it up grandly, and every mistake we make will be 100% ours."
ABOUT ME
I grew up in upstate New York, and have since been slowly making my way around the world, testing out cities and beer. I just started working a full-time job at a non-profit for the developmentally disabled, but I try to always find time to laugh at myself, and probably at you too, if you let me.
PHILOSOPHY
Ready yourself. There is wonder yet to come.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience was as a 17-year-old in Sheffield, England, at an apartment that was having heating problems in the middle of January and the hosts offered us their only source of warmth for the night. It was a really lovely and obvious embodiment of the compassion of couchsurfing.
Interests
I really like eating and drinking, especially in the company and conversation of great people. I like concerts, traveling, adventures, staying in and reading or learning something new. I like planning trips. I like tattoos, coffee, playing darts, and chicken fingers. Did I mention I like drinking?

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Dave Eggers and Jonathon Safron Foer and Ray Bradbury and Douglas Adams. I love Wilco, Bright Eyes, Rilo Kiley, Gogol Bordello, Man Man, Arcade Fire, this list could continue forever.
I love music, and reading, and constantly finding new examples of both to love. I'll see any movie once, but then I'll promptly forget the plot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done a lot of cool things in my life, but probably the coolest thing I've done is move to Nashville on a whim. It's way too easy to overthink things.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Currently we're moving and unable to host anyone until we settle in! Stay tuned!!
