My name is Cátia- I'm from the North of Portugal, now living in Lisbon.
I am an easygoing and open-minded person who is happy to share my experience and some tips about cool places and events to visit and hopeful to receive the same while trying to explore a bit more of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's such a great way to meet new places and their people!
To visit somewhere with a local experience is the best way to truly get to know it. Not only they can recommend you the highlights but also some places and events that are not usually known by tourists.
Besides, it's always an opportunity to share travelling / life experiences and meet new friends all over the world, who knows one day can meet again and show them your hometown.

Interests

I can't live without sport in my daily life. I currently practice volleyball, running and yoga and recently started to learn to surf.
In my free time also love to read, join some outdoors activities such as hiking, prepare a home dinner or just go for a drink with my friends, and dance, Forró being my new passion !
I'm not vegetarian but really love to taste and prepare vegetarian plates and desserts.
I'm also interested in Aviation, particularly Aeronautical and Aerospacial Medicine.
