ABOUT ME

Music is my core. I currently live in Nashville, TN and work a recording studio. I am surrounded by many people who were all brought to the same place driven by creative aspirations. I myself spend almost every waking moment recording various artists that I believe in and have become good friends with over the years.

I myself, play drums in a band called Darla Farmer. I originally was involved with Darla Farmer as an engineer and later became their drummer (one of the single most happy days of my life). I now spend my time working, recording and touring around the us in a gutted handicap accessible shuttle bus...couldn't be happier.

Darla Farmer is one band of many that make up an upcoming music scene that is made up of a large group of people that all met in Nashville while at school. These people all have their interest (whether in a band, doing promotion, booking shows, doing artwork, writing literature etc...) and collectively make each other stronger and keep each other moving in the direction of creative expression. That in a nutshell is what inspires me and keeps me going....I love it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was first introduced the CS project through my room mate Charles Irby about 4 years back. We hosted many different people, all of which was a very good and inspiring experience. It showed me the large scale on which community exists. Before CS I viewed community on a very local level. Neighbors and such. But after hosting and meeting people from all over and sharing experiences with them I see the big picture.
