ABOUT ME

I fell in love with South Africa and a man while studying abroad in Cape Town, reluctantly went back to the States to finish my undergraduate degree, and caught the first one-way flight back as soon as I graduated. I have been here ever since working as a research assistant at an HIV/TB research organization, getting my Master's in Public Health, and enjoying life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed through Europe with a friend of mine in 2008. LOVED it. Met incredible people. Wherever we went, our cs hosts took great care of us. I am a huge supporter of cs and when I get my own place I will pay it forward...

Interests

My favorite things to do are cook and write about it on my food blog (exceptfortripe.wordpress.com), make pottery with a bunch of ladies every week, re-center myself at hot yoga, and go rock climbing, which is my ultimate new obsession.
