ABOUT ME
Everyday I try to learn something new that blows my mind and sends my head spinning around exciting ideas and absurd possibilities. The world is full of so many beautiful things... I aim to open up and let them into my life. This is what I love about life. This is why I travel.
After returning from backpacking all around, my current endeavor is graduate school. ek! No more traveling to far away places but I am still a curious kid so I'd love to do some adventuring in and around Pittsburgh.
PHILOSOPHY
"The happiest of people are those who want what they have not those who have what they want."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests
Being outside puts me in a good mood. awkward moments are funny. skirts that twirl up when I spin are delightful. Coffee and tea are delicious. Life is good.
Also, I love science. Particularly biology and chemistry but science of all sorts can be pretty awesome.
Maps are cool too and I not so secretly love board games and themed parties.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A ten day Vipassana meditation retreat in Sarnath, India. Ten days without talking, reading, writing or exercising. An incredible journey that I recommend to anyone who is interested.
Teach, Learn, Share
At the moment, I would really love to learn more about history. Anything from ancient to modern. I am also on a kick to learn more about world religions and about environmental sustainability.
I am more than happy to teach what I know. People are often so wary of the sciences but I love breaking down those barriers. Ask me anything about Biochemistry or Chemistry - I'll do my best to explain it or do some research to figure it out.
