Hello Everyone! I'm Karen and I have lived in Jacksonville, FL for close to 8 years now and I love it. I am open to hosting anyone passing through Jax and needs a clean place to crash, shower or maybe do laundry (the ladies know this can be a must). I do have a dog, Chloe. She's a mutt of sorts about 63lbs, medium size height but very loveable. Just giving you a heads up if you aren't a fan of dogs or dog hair (she sheds...a lot :( ) I am just now getting back into keeping track of couch surfing since I now have a few semesters off of school. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

'Be the change you wish to see in the world.' I want the world to trust and respect all types of people. So why not start with offering a couch and a clean place to sleep? I want to meet others that are trusting and are excited to travel but maybe can't afford a hotel every night and hope to meet others just alike :)

I love pretty much anything outdoors or active. Running, beach cruising, weight lifting. If it's outside, I love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most awesome thing I've done so far is run the Boston Marathon in 2014. :) Very awesome experience!
