ABOUT ME

I AM A WHY NOT PERSON. Life is wonderful. It offers many wonderful things and you just have to have the desire to want them. The wonderful things in my life are my family, friends, Tony, Roxi, snowboarding and travelling. I am lucky enough to have the greatest crew out there, a crew that pushes me but also laughs with me. A gaggle of friends that want to embark on daily adventures and still kick back for a beer at the end of the day. It's the days like today, when the sun is shinning and the possibilities of what to do are endless that make you appreciate being alive.

PHILOSOPHY

Once I heard a quote, do not fear death, fear the unlived life. Seems very obvious but I feel a lot of people get caught up in the day to day activities of work, and obligations that they forget about the purpose of life, to have fun and experience great things. I want to be able to look back on my life and feel majority of my time was doing something worthwhile, with people that I love.

Interests

I love to travel, the ability to be in one city meeting random new people and five hours later be in a completely different place with even more random people is awesome. There is so much to see, so much to experience and so many adventures awaiting around the corner, you just got to go for it! Other than that I love snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and backpacking. Anything in the outdoors. I love taking pictures, especially of wildlife and nature. I'm interested in the world outside of the US and what stories are there to be shared. I have played soccer all my life. And I love a good card game. Or a good MarioKart war on N64.

Music, Movies, and Books

First and foremost I am a country music girl. But there are also a lot of other genres I like. Favorite bands are: Tom Petty, Queen, Lily Allen, Zac Brown Band, Steve Miller Band, and many more. Books: Hunger Games and Harry Potter. Between a Rock and a Hard Place, Unbroken, Shutterbabe is my favorite book. Eat, Pray, Love. Half-broke Horse. As for movies, there are too many good ones. I like everything from Blood Diamond to Elf, Friends tv series to Out Cold.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Idaho beauty. NH fall foliage. Running from bulls. drinking sangria while running from bulls. kissing a cow in the swiss alps. getting pummeled by the waves in France. the falling waters in Plitvice National Park. "best sunset in the world" in Santorini. powder days on my local mountain with my best friends. drunk bike riding to the local pub outside of Barcelona. hiking the New Hampshire 48 peaks in 12 weeks.
