It all started on a dark, stormy night after a crazy Cinco de Mayo party in 1981... And then I finished my two-year stint with Peace Corps in 2009 and a year with AmeriCorps VISTA in Maine, then got a Master of Public Health at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where I am still.
