Overview
About Me
Extremely active, a little shy, a little cold, love conversations that use the mind, adventurous, and a generally nice girl.
I'm the queen of awkward.
I have a very good sense of humour
Hoping that I can do whatever I dream of, but still be all realistic about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Give information about my country, help people around, participate in group meetings, have a good drink!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with some folks on a trip across Canada on bicycle. Ended the trip crash landing in Toronto, ON of all places, met some wonderful, friendly people!
Attended numerous events.
Interests
Hiking, ski-mountaineering, climbing, skiing, contact improvisation, reading, writing, photography, contemporary dance, urban exploration, cooking, inventing "fusion" recipes, getting insulted because of my "fusion" recipes, bluffing my way through wine tasting (always mention the berry undertones), dancing, sweating, nature, travelling, colours, art (different sorts of them), cultures, anthropology, philosophy, fair trade, languages, international politics, environment, the smell of grass
Music, Movies, and Books
I tend to stray away from watching too many films, but the internet is a keen replacement, more noteworthy, and more excellent
I read copious amounts novels, classic novels, ultra-modern novels... and travel literature. Oh, and a lot of non fiction
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
“The miracle is not to walk on water. The miracle is to walk on the green earth, dwelling deeply in the present moment and feeling truly alive.” Thich Nhat Han
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn: teach me, teach me... a new recipe and its little secrets, a new rhythm and what it evokes, old traditions and how they are preserved, the name of a flower and where it blooms...
Teach: If you ever so fancy... and have never quite done so... ask me to take you to the mountains... maybe even to delicately push your limits a little bit... a night on the snow, hanging from a rope, tackling that difficult hand-foot coordination or maybe just leaving those groomed runs far far behind...
Share: anything, really.
