About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To walk in as many people's shoes as I can.
ABOUT ME
I'm 20 and I love life. Iâm a slightly-average small town girl, with a healthy curiosity and an always searching mind. I'm a pacifist and a vegetarian, but meat being eaten around me doesn't bother me in the least. I'm most definitely an extrovert. I'm engaged to the most wonderful man (though, doesn't everyone say that when they're engaged?), and our wedding is in May. I can't wait! We have long-term plans to live in Scandinavia, but until we do, we're trying to stick it out in Arkansas.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to experience as many different perspectives on the world as possible. Empathy is everything to me.
Interests
Learning, traveling, reading fiction (and some non-fiction on particular topics), event planning, and new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll be honest when I say that I'm a huge Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Firefly nerd, but I also love science fiction of any kind and in most any media.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I think I've done in my lifetime was walk a little boy home. While waiting for the bus on a Spring morning, I saw a child who couldn't have been older than 4 walk past with a dog on a leash in his pajamas and rainboots. He was down the street from me, but I caught up to him and asked him where he was going and if I could walk with him. He told me that he was on his way to see his mommy and that his dad was still asleep so he decided to walk the dog. I convinced him to walk home and not towards where he thought his mom was, and the whole walk back to his home (which was several blocks and crossed a few busy streets - I'm not sure how he got as far as he did) he told me about how his mom had moved out and he was looking for her to convince her to come home. He told me about his preschool, his dog, his dad, and his brother. He sounded as lonely as a cute little 3 year old can. At that point, we got as far as his apartment building and the bus I had been waiting on was coming up to an earlier stop. I watched as he walked up to the door and made sure he went inside, dog and all, before getting on the bus and going about my day. I never got to see him again, but I hope he stayed at home and told his dad that he took a walk that morning and why.
