ABOUT ME

I am from the United States but have been teaching English in Madrid for the past three years. I´m clean and easy-going. I like to have fun and meet people but I don't go too crazy: I prefer talking with friends while having drinks in a bar or wine at home rather than going out to clubs. I speak English and Spanish.

I love reading, especially historical fiction and mysteries. My music taste depends on my mood, and I really don't dislike anything except for heavy metal or rap. My favorite films are usually comedies, everything from the blunt humor of Austin Powers to the quirky one-liners in Clue.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent two years reading for pleasure exclusively in my non-native language. Other favorite experiences include taking a cooking class on an organic farm outside of Chiang Mai, seen the sun rise over Angkor Wat, navigated Israel and the West Bank solo, watched the birth of the "Spanish Revolution" firsthand, and connected with Costa Rican children on a volunteer trip when my Spanish was still mediocre at best.
