About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get out of the 9-5 job and see the world!!
ABOUT ME
I (Kristan)am a laid back girl that loves to travel and learn about different people and cultures. I enjoy sports, but I never seem to do them anymore and I love arts and crafts. My problem is that I want to do everything all at once!!
My boyfriend of a year and a half, Raouf, is a laid back guy as well. He is currently working a job where his office is at home and I know he is ready to get out and explore the world outside.
PHILOSOPHY
Mine would be - It's up to you to make your dreams a reality!!!
Raouf would probably say - No worries mon!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like the books like The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. Both Raouf and I enjoy 90s grunge music and oldies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked 10 miles on the Great Wall of China. I find that pretty amazing because I didn't realize I signed up for a hike! It was so beautiful, yet difficult. I am also going to run a half marathon on June 3rd, so that's amazing to me as well.
Raouf was trained as a paratrooper in the Army so he has jumped hundreds of times out of an airplane, sometimes in the pitch black... I think that is incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn about people's cultures and just experience cultural awareness. I am currently studying to become a teacher of English as a Second Language. One of the major components is cultural diversity and how to apply it to a classroom of diverse students. I think this is the perfect opportunity to learn and teach just that!
This will be Raouf's first real trip abroad... how exciting!! I'm sure that he will be excited to learn just about anything. As for teaching and sharing, I'm not sure we have too many transferable skills per se, but we can definitely share some good times.
