ABOUT ME

I was born in Chile, I have two brothers and I'm the youngest one...my parents are chileans, very nice people. I'm a relaxed guy. I like to travel, to meet people, talk, talk, talk and share experiencies...about trips and life itself. I'm a frustated writer, but it´s ok, jeje. And I love music. I have a blues band in Chile, where I play the drums and the guitar. We love to play blues...wich is pure feeling and soul. In the blues you don´t need great lyrics..the lyrics is in the music, in the fingers, connected with the guitarman's soul...I loved to read, I loved when people recommends me new writers or new music...I´m allways searching surprises...you can find it anywhere...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can participate in the community hosting other people. I see the CS2 Project like a way to share experiencies. Not just like a simple hostel. The sense of this project is about living the country in a short time, but with the people that lives there...

Blues, Blues, Blues!! Albert King, Freddy King and BB King, Skip James, Hound Dog Tylor, Canned Heat, Pappo's Blues (argentinian blues) and a lots of chilean bands (chico trujillo, los tres, los prisioneros, gepe, mauricio redoles, familea miranda, mecanica popular, congreso, los jaivas...) , movies! a lot of them...I love Herzog's films with Klaus Kinsky (fitzcarraldo, aguirre la ira de dios, nosferatu the vampire, etc), also some of welle's films (citizen kane, the third man although the director is carol reed) I like sidney lumet (12 angry men). Books ooh books John Kennedy Toole is my favorite with Roberto Bolaño (chilean writer, savage detectives is s great book!), rabelais, petronio, cortazar, borges, flauvert (boubard and pecuchet), recently I was reading Italo Calvino, and it´s amazing!
