About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world!

ABOUT ME

Now that I am finally done university I am tickled pink to be able to travel and see various parts of the world. From what little traveling I have done thus far, I know that I definitely have "the bug" and absolutely love experiencing different cultures. I really enjoy meeting new people, engaging in conversation, and learning from others. I love to laugh, and do so quite often. I am also extremely passionate about my work as a nurse, and hope to do more travel nursing in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

Love one another and be good to each other, and by doing so, make this world a better place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Right now I'm really into the Black Keys, the xx, Arcade Fire, Bob Dylan, and Beach House, to name a few.

Movies: I enjoy most genres except horror. I frighten easily.

Books: Currently reading Hell's Angels: A Strange and Terrible Saga by Hunter S. Thompson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My time spent doing volunteer nursing in Ghana was simultaneously one of the best and worst times of my life. Such an amazing experience, spending time with such lovely and generous people, assisting with labour and delivery, and teaching at child health clinics. So heart-breaking to see first-hand the poverty and disease that is so rampant throughout the continent of Africa. Such a privilege to nurse there and I learned so much about what it truly means to care for others.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to play music with others and would be down for a jam. Singing and harmonizing with others is one of my favourite things in the entire world. I would love to get better at guitar and learn how to knit.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ghana, Mexico, United Kingdom
