Stay on couches, have couch, have an open personality, willing to meet up! As long as it's all good then it's all good!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had random travellers stay at numerous homes over the years and made some really beautiful connections and had some wonderful times. I have hosted in Scotland, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Australia and really enjoyed it!
For a few year I have had a bit of a break from couch surfing but after meeting a few wonderful surfers in Bhutan in 2014 my Couchsurfing heart has been relit and I am ready to get active and host/meet/surf some more.

I think it is really important to remember as a Couchsurfer that hosting and surfing is a balance where you have to give and take. I have been in situations where I haven't been able to find places to surf and had to fork out cash for accommodation, that is part of the balance. As a host I think it is important to keep a balance of visitors and your own personal space. So please understand that if I am not able to host you it is because I have another guest or there is something going on in my life that I need to focus on.

Intereses

Adventures, travel, travel and more travel.
Creating: I call my self a half arsed jack of all trades. I can make things with crochet, renovate furniture, weave wild baskets, I love sewing my own clothes and am passionate about growing my own food and eating it! My latest obsession is making macrame jewelry, so I can teach you how to do that if you have the time.
In the past I have been known to Spin fire, play African djembe drumming, stilt walking,. I love camping, walking, chatting, drinking (it frees the thoughts), books, living life for every second and not for what could be.

A clash of amazing music from rock, post rock, electronic, psytrance, dub and bass, jazz and all of these mish mashed together. Fill your self with music and let the good vibrations flow!'
Books, favourite would be Hitch Hikers Guide, an inspiration for all globe trotter and never a page without a laugh. Travelling books, picture books, philosophical books, real life stories and educational readings (sometimes).

Algo increíble que he hecho

I've walked on a live volcano, breathed underwater. Seen the stars and made a wish. Played with fire. Flew, soured as far as my dreams could take me and felt the earth under my feet. Fallen in and out of love and learnt to do it again. Hugged a tree. Somehow survived living in a rural Bhutanese village for a year and kept my sanity in tact (just).
There are so many more things.....
