ABOUT ME

I am impassioned by human rights, global health etc... I give a shit and I am trying to work on being useful in those fields. However, I am also a crass, capricious little monkey who wants to laugh at everything and free climb sky scrapers.

Did I mention I love Detroit? Yes. I LOVE that city. And it is not because I am from there. I feel the need to add this, because I think it describes a good bit of why many people do not understand me. He he

This type of question just gets me going on a long rant about random things... So instead I will just say Unicycle and leave it at that.

Interests

Cheese. I miss it in Africa. Laughing cow DOES NOT count. Neither does Tillamook.

Other than that I love pretty much everything that I try. I really enjoy meeting people, but then again can be a real hermit. I like to rock climb, but will be down for kicking your ass in Mortal Combat. I think I am pretty much like you. We all are filled with irony and dichotomies and that is what makes us fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love music (not a fan of raggae though... sorry. Just spent enough time listening to it in West Africa that I need a break).

Read everything I can get my hands on that is related to mental health/global health etc... I have been having a tough time with fiction recently (much to my personal chagrin), but have read a crap ton of fiction throughout my life.

Movies: YES PLEASE. Love everything but dramas. Documentaries are probably my favorite, but sit me in front of a shitty action and I will be as happy as can be.
