ABOUT ME

I'm an introspective musician, which usually means that I love friendship and laughter, that I'm a little scattered and distracted and that I have a highly developed aesthetic that is never consistent. I love meeting people and taking part in activities but I have to be in the right mood for small talk. I'm addicted to significance and beauty.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm amazed when people can fill in this box. I think my philosophy might be to evade questions like this at all costs.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm traveling but I've tried to learn a lot of new things to help others while I'm on the road. I'm a good guest, always up for singing, dancing, music, cooking, cleaning, hiking and doing the washing up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience with couchsurfers has been wonderful. Especially since I'm an awful planner and many of my couchsurfing friends took me on short notice.

兴趣

Ecological building and farming. Violin, Balkan music. The different histories of France. Sunlight and cooking. Love and beauty. And although I feel weird admitting it I'm becoming really intrigued by the pyramids and the Mayan calendar, etc. I don't like to list a lot of things that interest me because I love people's secret worlds, but I know that people like to connect through shared interests. So I'll tell you that people who sew are like magicians to me. I fantastize about creating menus. Textures evoke strong reations. But when I'm closed off or preoccupied I don't notice anything.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once, I held my breath for two whole minutes.
I've had a lot of lucid dreams.
I can spell words backwards better than anyone I know.
Once I sat by a river and I didn't think at all. I've also swam with dolphins and they tried to make me stay, which freaked me out, but was still very flattering.

Basic music theory, especially for guitar and violin.
HTML/CSS but not much. I'm a decent cook and a decent bicycle repairman.
I'm also a walking dictionary! I was an only child and I still am in a lot of ways, but I've become much better at sharing.
