About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am currently living in South Korea and on a mission to explore and meet people.

ABOUT ME

I am a frog in a well with limited perspective and I would like to peek out into the great unknown. I want to try different tastes of which I am not yet accustomed. I have been both a hermit and an adventurer; however, always fascinated by people.

I am:
-easy going.
-easy to communicate with (even if there is a language barrier).
-not a smoker.
-willing to exchange languages and ideas.
-open to all sorts of new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a world without borders. I believe that everyone has something to teach. I believe that having relationships with people globally makes one much more wise and caring. I believe in learning something new every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My family has had one Japanese exchange student and over 50 foster children. I grew up sharing my house. When the travel bug bites I can't stop itching, I would like to get a place that could invite many people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favourite was my first stay in Japan. It was shocking at first; however, everyone was so friendly.

Interests

I am open to all new experiences. I love trying new things.

  • traveling
  • socializing
  • adventure races
  • languages

Music, Movies, and Books

Every day I try to read something that I never expected myself to read. I try to read a range of topics, yet I focus on psychological themes. I also really like creative non-fiction. Essays and short stories have incredibly influenced me to learn bits and pieces from everywhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Cuba I saw a lightning storm of which shot lightning down against the ground rapidly one after another. It was so intense. Crash! Crash! Crash! I was so close, I was in awe, it was so sublime.

I was also within a cyclone during my stay in Cuba. It went right over us. It sounded like banshees.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love all knowledge, specifically unique things. I love fun facts and counter-intuition.
