About Me

CURRENT MISSION

get to the moon. quickly!

ABOUT ME

(Funny how we love talking about everyone, except ourselves...) All right, usually I am easy to go along with; I try to help, to make boring things somehow interesting, try to learn something new everyday and, mostly, to make the best out of everything.

Sometimes I don´t succeed, but I keep trying!

PHILOSOPHY

"Freedom begins in the mind".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up to now I hadn´t had much CouchSurfing experience, but it sounds as something I would enjoy doing. I love hosting ppl and sharing my knowledge of the city with them, and vice-versa. I have already hosted a handful of friends in Lisbon, and I didn´t hear any complaints! :-)

You learn to navigate within a city in a completely different way when you can count on the locals, those experiences are probably richer than just wandering on your own (though I like doing that as well).

Interests

Cinema, books, music, history. Although I am a Brazilian, I only have a pedestrian knowledge on football! I try to compensate it with knowledge on other things, though.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - everything, from old cinema (Murnau, Dreyer) to artsy-fartsy stuff (Bergman, Fellini) to contemporary filmmakers (Lars von Trier, Atom Egoyan) and blockbusters (anything but 3D crap).

Music - Samba, popular Brazilian music, 70s music, pop, house, am not terribly serious on music, like to hear what´s pleasant on the ear.

Books - History, International Politics, Latin American fiction.

TV - Mad Men, Simpsons, Lost.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived in Iran for two years. One of the best things I´ve done in my life!

Other amazing thing: to fall in love, truly, irrevocably. You are a better person when you´re in love. To be in love or see someone in love is a beautiful mystery!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Cabo Verde, France, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Iran, Libya, Portugal
