ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old girl from Germany who's fallen in love with Britain, Ireland, her guitar, history, Mark Knopfler, Colin Mochrie, Aragorn, Mr Rochester, Newcastle, swimming in the sea no matter how cold it is, good movies, chocolate, the wind and being outside during thunderstorms. Plus about half of what I'm saying is probably ironic, which makes the above list somewhat less helpful now that I think of it. ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been round and about the UK meeting some great peopel via couchsurfing. It's always been a great time :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had brilliant times in Wales in a little town called Hay-on-Whye where I met another couchsurfer on the bus and got invited by the host to stay over as well :) A great first couchsufing experience!
I also encountered the nicest of people in Newcastle, Edinburgh and Inverness on my travels to the North of Britain, which were hospitable, always ready to help, and made me feel part of their family for a couple of days. I do feel that's when I got adicted and now I want more :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played a gig in front of 150 people who paid to see us. I know it sounds a little pathetic but I'm really proud of that.
Swimming in the sea and any given river at any given time of year. And yes I will brag about that ;)
Oh and my Dire Straits pilgrimage in Newcastle. :) I saw the Dog Leap Stairs, Cullercoats and Whitley Bay, AND what's left of the Spanish City. Best. Days. Ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can provide hourlong monologues on modern history, which at least I will certainly enjoy. ;) And discussions on movies, tv series, and really almost everything. There's nothing I enjoy more.
