One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a sufi ritual in Hama in Syria, after a family invited my friend and me as we were picknicking. There where long skewers on the wall and the men told me that they skewer themselves through the belly without dying to show there trust into god. On that evening nobody skewered himself, but we danced until one of the men got extatic and he had to be holden down. I was a bit afraid and had to communicate in my basic arabic, but they were very nice and it was a very impressive experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share: vegan, basic bike repairing, discussing capitalism, racism and gender, without being too morally;-) hierachies, teaching and learning languages, know something about development of music styles.
I like to learn: further french, spanish, arabic,
