Hi!

My name is Rémi, I came from east of france, but I lived and worked in different cities in the country (Strasbourg, Paris, Biarritz...).
After years of waiting, watching blogs of people travelling, I decided to quit my job in December 2016 for start travel here and there. My plan is to start with 6 month in south américa (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, y Colombia), then back in Europe few month for a musical project with my friends, and then go to Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Burma, Nepal and maybe Mongolia). This is how it looks on the paper, but I know it will change depending on people I will met...

Every summer I love to take the road with my friends for discover new places, cultures, peoples... but untyl now I never had the opportunity to make a really long trip (with time and without return date). I think it's a completely different approach of travelling.

I never really wanted travel alone, but it is complicated to find a friend with the same project at the same time and with similar budget, so I decided to do it on my own. And finally I think it will be the best way to enjoy travelling, meet people, and improve my selfconfidence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I don't want be a simple tourist, I want travel and meet local people. I think it's the best way to discover the culture, visit Untouristic places and have fun (as I guess Couchsurfing community is made of cool people! ).
I only had the chance to host 2 personnes when I was living in Angoulême, and as I expected it was a really great exchange.

Electronic Music (I'm Dj since 2004) and now mostly play Deep House to Tech House.

In august and september, I will back to europe in order to make the "Boom Tchak Tour" with my friends. It's our new project, a techno caravan tour who propose a small alternative & festive scene for festivals (before, after or camping party...)
We are totally autonomous with our music system, lights, decorations, dancefloor, games, fun costume box…
It gonna be fun!!
