ABOUT ME

I'm Knut. A Norwegian.
I studied the media at the university.
I study how people act in my spare time.
And I like a pub to a club.

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe in our collective dependency; we need eachother and that's why everybody matters and should be treated equal. Or something like that.

But I'm sort of against extreme hospitality as well, I don't like fake people. Or, some people have genuine extreme hospitality, but you know, there's always grey areas.

I like the feeling of unity you get when traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed here and there in Europe and Canada. It's always been a pleasure. I'll host people as soon as I have my own place, because CS makes you want to host and share.

Interesses

I have a lot of interests, but when it comes to activities it's probably:
Concerts, climbing/bouldering, photography, cinema, football, listening to music, talking and watching the internet evolve.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

As far as music and cinema goes, my taste is as varied as of any person, because Everybody Has There Own Taste. The sense of sincerity and reality is what I'm looking for.
The Beatles, Neil Young, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Animal Collective, Radiohead, Television, 13th Floor Elevators & Roky Erickson, Motorpsycho, Tom Waits, Girls, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Burial, Glenn Gould, Daniel Johnston, The Kinks, The Smiths etc.
Films: Tarr Béla and Andrei Tarkovskij movies mainly.
Books: I'm a sucker for Hunter S. Thompson.

In retrospect: I really spend a lot of my time with different kinds of media and art. I have a lot of experience with consuming and some with producing them. And I just don't stop talking about them. The lot. Just ask.
