ABOUT ME

I'm a fun, easy-going guy who loves coffee, movies, and theology in no particular order. I read a lot, write a lot, and think way too much about stuff that doesn't matter and some stuff that does. I'm very open-minded about things, which upsets a lot of people who aren't open-minded and think I should be. I am a Christian and want to be a pastor, but if you don't want to talk about that, I understand. I'm not gonna beat you over the head with it, but I also really do enjoy talking and debating about stuff like that, because it's my area of study and interest. I also really suck at these questions.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently turned to Couch-Surfing out of desperation because I needed a place to stay immediately. I got luck and a guy hosted me, and now I can't imagine why I ever stayed in a hotel in my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted once, and am currently not in a position to host. I would love to continue surfing and hosting as I'm able!

Interests

I like sitting in coffee shops and reading, chatting, writing, and of course drinking great coffee. I'll talk about movies, books, God, politics; not afraid of disagreement or contention, it makes things more fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have great taste in movies but terrible taste in music. I enjoy quality films that make me think and feel, though I can't help but indulge in a cheesy, bad action film. Memento is probably my favorite movie of all-time right now. With music, I know what good music is (I really do!), but I don't listen to it. I listen to terrible pop music because I love to sing along with it and I have a strange knack for memorizing lyrics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I never know how to answer these questions. I'm not the kind of guy who has monumental experiences or memories that I retreat back to. I tend to live in the moment and take solace in the people around me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a student of Christian theology and ministry and enjoy a good conversation on the topic. I also know about 1,000 ways to make a great cup of coffee. I want to learn everything I can. If I could go back I would've learned piano a long time ago.
