ABOUT ME

I can't say too much about me because what I think about myself always changes. If I were to write all about myself here, I'm sure that, in the future, I will look at it again and tell myself: "oh dear, is this me?" Certain parts of my personality are brought out by different people and in different contexts. Sitting here at a computer in a familiar place won't really bring out part of my personality.

Things done recently:

- Arriving in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in the middle of winter. An eerie Soviet-style square with seemingly deteriorating buildings. Sky was gray and the streets smelled of car fumes. A strong first impression.

- Friend & Family tour prior to coming to Bishkek.

If you know where the bathroom is on one floor and, in the same building, you are looking for a bathroom on another floor, chances are that that bathroom is in a similar area of the floor as the familiar bathroom on the other floor. This is probably because bathrooms in a building cannot stray too far from the vertical pipelines.

If you're on a subway/metro platform and you want to stand where the doors will open, look for the dirtiest parts of the ground. All the people walking in and out of the cart will have made that spot dirtier than other parts of the platform.
