ABOUT ME
I'm energetic and curious about my environment, no matter where I am. I'm empathetic, loyal and interested in large philosophical issues. I'm québécoise, which is a quite different from being French from France...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I've met over 5 CSs for drinks and outings around town and hosted 4 surfers. It's been absolutely brilliant.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I was 19, my highschool friend and I were stranded in Paris and there was a train strike. We met this couple we figured were old (hum they were younger than I am now) and they took pity on and let us stay in their LR. I was amazed that strangers would open their home for me, way before CS ever existed. I will always remember their generosity. I suppose that's why I became a CS member in 2007.

Music, Movies, and Books
movies: most everything except big empty blockbusters, mainly indy films.
music: all, all, all except intense heavy metal, raw hip hop or screeching jazz.
books: I would perhaps die if they didn't exist. So ALL books except self-help books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen: the stars in the Israeli desert: a cluster of white stars, more white than the black of the sky. Amazing. Made you think you were one but a tiny star clustered with tons of others.
done: spelunking in Gramat with brilliant people I was interviewing for a Nat Geo series. Brilliant and very protective.
Done: sacred plants in a Santo Daime ceremony.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: French, tarot reading, style, conceptual designing, cool recipes, backgammon.
Learn: simple ways of making life easier (organising), how to spend money wisely, horseback riding, directing films, and too many things for a lifetime.
Share: my house, my couch, my knowledge, my experience, my good addresses, my network, my recipes, my written stories and my loyalty.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My good addresses, my network, My neighbourhood.
I live in Parc Extension, which is a very eclectic mix of communities from India, Pakistan, Greece and Italy. I can show you around my neighbourhood and visit galleries with you, teach you some French, English or Italian, and visit anything that inspire you.
