ABOUT ME
Like all of CS, I do love to travel. Experiencing different cultures and beliefs, and evolving as a person from all of it is one of my biggest passions. Besides that, I work in the film industry, behind the cameras, so I'm involved in the arts and finding beauty in everything-especially nature. I studied political science in college, with a focus on international relations, so I try and incorporate that knowledge when I'm traveling. I'm a very independent and easy-going person. Once you get to know me, you'll find that I've lived a pretty interesting life and have some great stories to share.
PHILOSOPHY
Keep calm and carry on.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
New to Couchsurfing, but I am very excited about being a part of such a wonderful community!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I signed up to CS a couple years ago, but was studying at my University so I haven't been able to travel much since I signed up. I am currently on my first journey since joining so I will have some good references coming! Just have to be patient, haha. Although my experience with CS is limited, I assure you that my experience with human connection is not.

Music, Movies, and Books
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainence, Writings of Plato, Jack Kerouac, Che Guevara's early work, not so much his Castro-centric later beliefs. Anything by Sartre and Camus, although Nausea is my favorite. Joseph Conrad and Herman Hesse both touch a soft spot for me.
Movies-wise, anything shot by Harris Savides. More on that later.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite moments while traveling was the sense of independence and absolute isolation that I got while floating deep into the Khao Sok National Park in Thailand on a raft I made out of bamboo. I was alone, without any real supplies, and had travelled much further into the jungle than I should have. But it was too exciting to turn back, and experiencing each new sight unfold around every corner of the river left me completely awestruck. Getting back was a whole other adventure, but I'll tell you that one when I see you.
