CURRENT MISSION

I have had the travel bug ever since I can remember. My first two years of college are up and it's time to travel. Meeting new, exciting people while backpacking and traveling the western US is my dream.

I'm an outdoors guy and love to explore the mountains. The Colorado Rockies are my favorite so far. I would love to see the Grand Canyon and Yosemite someday.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meet and chat with locals. Hopefully go hiking or sightseeing at your favorite places. See, smell, taste; really experience a place and its people wherever I might be.
Starting off in Phoenix and then to Gila National Forest in New Mexico. Who knows where after that.

I think it's important to conserve our environment and be good stewards of what we have for future generations to enjoy. You could say I'm an amateur naturalist; always trying to learn the flora and fauna and make as little impact on it as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Grizzly Man, City of God, Man on a Wire, Red Cliff, Lone Survivor.

Books: Lord of the Rings, The Beach, The Backpacker, Brave New World.

Music: Pretty much grew up on the Grateful Dead and can appreciate mostly everything but not rap sorry. Papadosio, Chuck Berry, Joe Bonamassa, Rolling Stones, Zepplin, Beethoven, Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Kansas, Bob Dylan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking up Long's Peak, CO for a week.

Tijuana was quite the adventure.

Went to Children's International Summer Village Camp and later in high school was part of a cultural exchange to Italy.

Trying to learn Spanish but retain only a fraction of it so far. If you are interested in English I'm a good proof reader and am good with grammar.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sharing some brews is nice! But no really, I can cook a little and clean up.
