My name is Koen Cornelis, 22 years old and momentaraly living in Utrecht, The Netherlands. I'm in third year of art school where I studie Product Design.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like to travel and I think there's so much more to learn about a country, city or culture when you stay with someone local.

My interest lies within the story of people of my age en I'm curious how they experience living there and I would love to be shown around or to be filled with stories of their own.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to Blues Rock and alternitive rock of different times: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Pruple, Cream, Radiohead, Foofighters and so on. Going to live preformances and concerts are a big hobby of mine.

I enjoy al lot of different kind of movies: adventure stories , movies about history but I also like Musical Movies. Art movies are more than welcome. Wes Anderson, Tarantino and ofcourse Tim Burton are my old time favourites because of the weird atmosphere and decors they create.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went on this 6 day boat trip in Indonesia to visit serveral islands. There was this one night I couln't sleep and I looked over the railing and saw the moon rising at one side and the sun going down on the other. It was the most magical thing I've ever seen and the collors were just breathtaking.
