About Me
Hi everyone
I lived as an exchange student in Florianópolis, Brazil, where I got to know Couchsurfing. Now I am living in Ghent, Belgium's most beautiful city.
I love hiking, theatre, literature, art, philosophy, sports, music and of course traveling.
After my beautiful experiences in Brazil, I'm excited to show you Ghent. I already hosted some people unofficially, but now I wanna be an active member of the community again.
I'm really enjoying it, as several couchsurfers became good friends.
I'm living together with one roommate, but we have a very spacious living room where we can host up to three people (on two couches and one mattress).
I try to create a safe(r) space for all my guests. Everyone is welcome. Come as you are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I wanna meet new people and get in touch with different cultures. Traveling is the best way of learning.
I approach things from an international and intersectional point of view, learning from the people I meet.
It's always better to learn from locals than to do all the mainstream tourist stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm reading fiction, non fiction and poetry about various different topics. Let's share reading tips!
I love a lot of different types of music. I also love to listen to music from different countries, in different languages. If I'd have to chose I would go for Brazilian MPB or some Miles Davis classics.
I really love Ghent's movie scene. If you're staying for a longer time or the weather is bad, I'd love to go to a cinema together!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled throughout Brazil during my student exchange program. I tried couchsurfing to improve my Portuguese, so that I could pass my exams. In the end I did.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you every nice spot in Ghent, as I know the city pretty well by now.
I can teach you Dutch, English and French.
I can share my passion for culture, Latin America, social change, music, ...
I can offer piano classes at home, although I'm not very talented myself.
I really love cooking together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to listen to people and have long conversations about a broad range of topics. I also love to go to concerts and try local food/drinks. I am really open to getting to know new cultures, without imposing the frameworks I already know.
