About Me

ABOUT ME

--COVID-19
we are both fully vaccinated !

Ok, I'm not gonna write my autobiography here, it would take too much time and space, because I've had so many changes in it, let's stick to my present situation ...

I'm 50-something, divorced, father of two lovely children, translator but currently working as web developper. I'm living together with my boyfriend Jamal, 40-something, in my appartment in Antwerpen. There are plans to move into a house near Brussels, but those are far from concrete yet... So you will be welcome here in Antwerpen for now.

I was born in the flemish speaking part of Belgium, Jamal is born and raised in Brussels, french speaking and of moroccon origin.

I like going on city trips, short vacations to other environments, new views, new people!

I like to think I'm an easy person, I love having people at my place to share a glass of wine and some food and chat. Not really into parties --I've had my time, -- but i'm certainly not against them either.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about this site, through friends who are very excited about it. I really loved the idea. City tripping while staying in a hotel is ok, but I guess staying with "real" people adds another dimension to the experience, that I would like to get to know.

And on the other hand, I think I have got some things to tell about my country too... so it would be nice to share these with those who are interested !

so far. all the people I have hosted at my place, have been great experiences each time, even if everyone of them was so different from the others, but that's the beauty of it. I keep in contact with lots of the people that stayed, and consider some of them good to even close friends.

Interests

walk in the city, enjoy the athmosphere, taste the food and drinks.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I have the time, I will take you in the city. I love doing that, show you around while getting to know each other.

I work on weekdays, so if you would be here on weekdays, you will be on your own in daytime, but we can spend evenings together. It's also very much ok, if you wanna spend time by yourself, I can give you hints as where to go to.

Would you please be so kind to read the "My Home" section ? I would love to hear from you that you read my house rules... there's not that many of them, and I guess they are not that hard to follow :).
