Overview
About Me
Mark: I was born at the 7th March 1996 in Hamburg, but I grow up in Bargteheide. There I visit the elementary school and the secondary school.
In case to finance my journey round the world I'am currently working for the diplomatic sales program of a german automaker. After my return I want to study political science in Hamburg.
Christopher: My Name is Christopher, but everyone calls me by my nickname "Tito". I am 20 years old and I grow up in a small village called Sandesneben. It is very close to Bargteheide. My favorite hobby is photography
but I also enjoy cooking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are two guys from Germany and we travel round the world from March to June 2017. Our first destination will be Cape Town wherefrom we will travel through South Africa, Namibia, Botsuana and Zimbabwe. Later we will reach Hong Kong and Bali amongst others. Therefore we are interested in meeting friendly people who can show us worth seeing places of interests and other insider locations.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mark: My favorite band is montreal, a german punk band. The Dark Knight from Christopher Nolan is my favorite movie, because of Heath Ledgers role as the Joker. Another movie a like is Prestige, also from Christopher Nolan, because of the great plot twist at the end of the movie. I like to read the bartimeus quatrology written by Jonathan Stroud, because the monologues of the protagonist are very sarcastic and funny.
Christopher: Basically I like every kind of music! I'am a huge fan of Metallica and Iron Maiden but also I have a passion for Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Blink 182. My favorite movie is "Hateful 8" From Quentin Tarantino. Highly recommended. The best books are from Tom Clancy, his books are super detailed
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mark: In 2015 I traveled with my family through the USA. There we drove for five weeks through California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and New York City. I would say the greatest experience there was the Grand Canyon. At the Day we visit this giant national park you can saw a great thunderstorm on the other side of the ditch. That looks very stunning, because it seems that the thunderstorm was close to us, but in fact it was far away.
Christopher: I made a roadtrip through Scandinavia with friends. For me, the most stunning were the fjords. But I also had a lot of fun driving the serpentines. Unfortunately, I have not seen any moose
