I'm one of those... what do you call them... ah yes.. humans. Been in Prague for some time now. Am Czech but not Czech. Am English but not English. Am American but not American, though i sound like one. Guess I'm a bit of a mix salat really. Love movies, travel, books, books on travel, movies based on books on travel.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be giving up a futon and hopefully meeting interesting people and getting a place to sleep when i travel. I actually just got a new comfortable couch so no more futon back pain.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a fair number of people but am looking to host more now but work has been picking up leaving me with little or no time to show people around during the day.

photography, film, history, international affairs, art, design, life, collecting things off the street, music (now again after a long break), meeting new people, heated conversations, conversations, eating, travel (wow, how did I almost forget travel) sleep, collecting art, cooking, sleep, trying new things, sleep, avoiding conflict, peace, sleep, over analyzing needless thoughts, damn it.... that’s enough, i think i went over the top there with those....!!

Ok, I can't remember all the movies I like so much but here are a few I recently watched which I liked. King of Kong, Hands on a Hardbody, Slumdog Millionaire,Choke, The Fall, the Mighty Boosh (TV) and anything by Takeshi Kitano or even Mike. Music:, Digitalism, Hexstatic, Cut Copy, !!!, Ghostland Observatory, Asian Dub Foundation, Thievery Corporation, DataRock, Mad Professor, Eek-A-Mouse and most bands along those lines. Books: mostly non-fiction, travel journalism and books dealing with sociology or anthropology.

Saw a guy squirt milk out of his eye in an effort to beat the world record in putting out candles by squirting milk out of their eye on the interent.

My mother always told me, "DON'T DRINK, but if you have to drink, DON'T MIX YOUR DRINKS, if you have to mix your drinks, don't MIX YOUR MIX DRINKS and all will be fine." Am not a drinker anymore thanks to this, well not a drunk at least! Well maybe a little... but not really.
