About Me
Aloha,
my name is Ildiko and currently travelling around the world, escaping the "real" life of a 40 hour week . And having a great time enjoying our beautiful planet with all its beauty. just seeing a beautiful sunset, the mountains, lakes or animals makes me happy and appreciate the freedom and life i have. I love meeting all those wonderful people that cross my path and eenthough i am currently travvling solo, its amazing to see that you are never really alone.
Back home i used to work in project management for a little film production agency and sound design studio, which i really enjoyed but nevtehrless it was time to hit the road and explore.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
my first big trip was back in 2005, when I was hosted as an exchange student in Chauvin, Louisiana. Even though this is maybe not considered as couchsurfing, but just the fact that people are opening their homes to a complete stranger and let them participate in their daily life and share what they have... is just amazing. And that was the start of my little (at sometime) adventurous life...since then I was able to share homes and lives with different people of various backgrounds.
Couchsurfing itself is a great door opener and i had great experiences in Panama as well as in Hanoi, Vietnam meeting lovely locals and enjoying wonderful food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the most amazing thing until now was swimming with a whaleshark!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to do handicraft things, if we can find flexile sticks i could teach you how to make a dream catcher, or we could do some bracelets or go out find pretty shells and stones and turn them into necklaces....the opportunities are endless;)
And while we are doing that i could tell some stories of endless shootingstarskies in Australia, that one time i swam with a whale shark or all the loving should i met on the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share stories, experiences, a nice meal, a glass of wine or beer (depending on the circumstances) and laughter ;)
