ABOUT ME

Someone in Turkey told me that I would function best as a university professor with three children. I have no idea what to make of this, especially since I would make a horrible mother.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell my friends about it. Share the news and the love. And I try to meet up with people as often as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met up with a few groups of CSers in Cairo - in bars, at parties, or because my friends were hosting. Once a Canadian CSer showed up at a party at my apartment, because he heard it from the street below.

Some day, when I don't live in a dorm, I will offer up my couch. Before that though, I have to get a couch...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For two hours in the dead of night I hiked to the top of Mt. Sinai with a group of international travelers and several pilgrims. When the sun rose, it was pentecost and said pilgrims burst out into song, and I took many photographs with people I don't know and will never see again.

I also had my art on display in a gallery in Cairo, although I think that was more due to connections than actual talent.

Teach, Learn, Share

I sort of taught myself to play the cello, so I could sort of teach you too. And I am always looking for a yoga partner.
