I really just like to learn and experience things and I think the best way to do that is through meeting people. I'm up for anything, and I'm looking to share it.

ABOUT ME

My name is Kolja from Berlin, Germany. I grew up in Berlin and enjoyed it's summers playing beach volleyball or exploring everything this wonderful city has to offer.
In the beginning of 2013 I moved to California for a research position in Berkeley, but I have now returned to Berlin to work in a Digital health startup.

I love traveling, summer, anything that ends with the word board, music, science (yes, really) and books. So far all my Couchsurfing experiences have been wonderful and I'm looking forward to meeting more interesting people while traveling!

Oh, and in case you were wondering, the name is Russian, but that's the only Russian thing about, I sadly don't speak the language (just English, German and a tiny bit of French)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to be able to host people on my couch, but sadly it's not possible anymore (for the moment). Hopefully later this year again!
