ABOUT ME

I'm sarcastic in the least flattering form, have four brothers, swear more than your average sailor, appreciate all forms of athleticism, tell long stories with short points, am obsessive about films but not entirely knowledgeable, grew up on a farm, write screenplays and fiction and expect a lot from people.

None of this looks good on paper. I promise I'm more friendly in person.

I like to travel and helping others broaden their experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any involving couchsurfing.org, but a friend of mine is an advocate, and I recently visited Seattle and stayed with a friend of a friend of a friend that I'd never met, and slept on his futon. He turned out to be the ultimate tour guide. On my trip home I decided I would like to be that experience for someone else. Voila!

Interests

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak a little Russian and a little Spanish. Have been to Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Mexico and a large portion of the US including New York, LA, Seattle, Dallas, etc.

I just finished an apprenticeship with a couple YA novelists on the west coast.

I don't know if I'm fit to teach, but I'm good at sharing.
