我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed since 2003 using Globalfreeloaders first, but now only CS. Became friends (and still is) with the first person I hosted, and been hooked on CS ever since.

Best couchsurfing experience was this bunch of Serbian students I met on the street who really welcomed me even though their city of Novi Sad still were suffering the result of the NATO bombings two years earlier.

Everything new! Yep! Love to try new stuff and meet new people.

Everything that has to do with litterature, photography or art in general. It could be anything, really, but Poetry Slam or Street art like Shepard Fairey will quickly draw my attention.

I'm a bikeoholic, just loves all kinds of bikes. You can (should!) easily borrow one of mine if you visit me :)

Only thing that (mostly) bores me is watching sports. I much rather participate myself :)

Books: Far too few, but some of my best reads were 'Catch-22' by Joseph Heller and 'The first million dollars is always the hardest' by Po Bronson.

Movies? oh yes. I'm really hooked on The American Astronaut at the moment. A fantastic b/w space western musical from 2001.

Staying a week in an Ethiopian refugee camp bordering Sudan.

Hitchhiking Iceland with my sister, camping on a lakeside and waking up to the view of icebergs.

Being picked up by the police for hitchhiking with my friend on the freeway in Detroit (ok, won't do that again, haha)
