Life happens: I have kept my profile text beneath so you can see what it was once for me - at the moment it contains among other things 2 diaperwearing bundles of work as well as a fulltime teaching job, so unfortunately the odds of fitting in people on the couch have drastically declined...

ABOUT ME

I am 30 years old, working with research and engineering in the field of nanotechnology and living life. In general I'm quite busy most of the time, but luckily also able to host a surfer or 2 sometimes - the longer the warning ahead of time, the greater chance for success. But give it a try anyway...

A Coke guy - regular, no doubt about it. There are always - and I do mean ALWAYS - cold cokes in the fridge, and coffee or tea to be made...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had the pleasure of both surfing a few couches and had surfers on mine on some occasions, and everytime it leaves me wanting more.
Whenever possible I spend time with my guests (if they want to), although my schedule doesn't always allow it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple of visits in and around some European cities - meeting people, surfing, and having good times.
Meeting many different people, in my hometown and elsewhere. A great, spontaneous party of music, fire-juggling and new friends happened when some cool surfers came by my place, a couple were married, a surfer cooked me food from his homeland, I burned some Danish food trying to cook for some others.

Hopefully many more to come...

Centres d'intérêt

I am a christian, and as such interested in getting to know other people, regardless of backgrounds, religions and so on. I sincerely dislike when anybody tries to force their political/religious/other views upon me, but I love to spend time with people and learn more about them, and through that about myself.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like to describe myself as musically omnivorous, but with a majority of music in the electronic genres - techno, trance, more experimental electronica...
But generally anything goes. Daft Punk, Jamiroquai, Röyksopp, Justice - and countless others.

When it comes to movies, I am a guy - I prefer guy movies anytime (as in action, violence and fast cars - not touchy-feely-romantic-makes-you-want-to-cry-movies).
Tarantinos movies are a hit, as well as Will Ferell in his different comedies - or similar movies.
My current favorite would definitely be Inglourious basterds - one of the few movies I have seen several times in a few months.
I love to read, but often don't have the time. Otherwise a good crime novel or other big books are always nice - Frank Peretti, Dan Brown, Dean Koontz, Tolkien etc.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Well - I work in nanotechnology research, and as such know a few things about that particular field of interest. What really gets me going though is talking about how people relate to each other, how we can better the lives of those who are not as fortunate and how to be a part of making the world a better place to live.
